Virginia Small Business Week Awards Luncheon

Registration is now open for Virginia Small Business Week Awards luncheon scheduled for Friday, June 13 from 11am to 2pm at the Richmond Omni. Businesses may register for a table at either the Gold or Silver level. Individuals may register for $45 (plus processing fee). We are proud to have Ms. Lillian Lincoln Lambert, the first African American woman to earn a Harvard MBA and Maryland's 1981 SBPOY, as the mistress of ceremonies.

BLOG: Loans — CDC/504 Loan

The CDC/504 loan program is a long-term financing tool for economic development within a community. More specifically, they provide financing for major fixed assets, such as equipment or real estate.  A Certified Development Company (CDC) is a private, for profit corporation set up to contribute to the economic development of its community. CDCs work with SBA and private sector lenders to provide financing to small businesses. (more…)
