Agriculture CFAP Information
As of 5/18/2020: The USDA ahs released preliminary information about the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program.
- CFAP will provide direct support based on actual losses for agricultural producers where prices and market supply chains have been impacted.
- CFAP will assist producers with additional adjustment and marketing costs resulting from lost demand and short-term oversupply for the 2020 marketing year caused by COVID-19.
Applications will be taken through the local Farm Service Agency at the USDA office. Here is the website for all information. https://www.farmers.gov/cfap
The website has a short pre-recorded webinar (15 min) that addresses eligibility and the required forms needed. Agriculture businesses are eligible for funds even if they received PPP or EIDL.
