His professional experience was with companies like: Philips, Shell, Wavin, Rollepaal, Charlotte Pipe, Inoex, and, Walraven. He also owned and managed a consulting practice and restaurant.

John holds a Mechanical Engineering Degree in The Netherlands and an MBA from Loyola University Maryland.
