Sharon is an experienced technology startup founder, turnaround specialist, and small business consultant in a variety of industries. She has successfully managed multimillion-dollar manufacturing facilities, distribution centers and retail outlets, and has coached company founders from idea stage to mature operations.
Sharon manages the Strome Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Old Dominion University developing nationally recognized entrepreneurial programs for students interested in entrepreneurship. She has created entrepreneurial training and programming for international and U.S. entrepreneurial centers and incubators.
Sharon has worked in various areas of entrepreneurship for over 20 years. Working in venture capital, as a technology startup founder and owner, as a technology incubator director, as a small business consultant, and as an entrepreneurship educator, she has a wide base of innovation and entrepreneurial knowledge.
She holds an MBA from William & Mary and a BA from the University of Michigan.
